The senior teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

There are a host of key players set to miss this week’s action in Meadows Greyhounds Division 1, building extra intrigue across the Round 2 matches.

Macleod will be without 2018 Frank Rosbrook medallist Lucas Hobbs, Justin White, Brad Leggett and Patrick Martin. All are unavailable for their side’s trip to Montmorency to take on former coach Garry Ramsay for the first time since his move to the Magpies. Jack Baker and Chris Long are among the inclusions for the Roos.

The home side will be relatively fresh-faced, with Ben Walton, Matthew White, Michael Fitz-Gerald and Matthew Hunt all set to miss. They have been replaced by a host of youngsters.

Hurstbridge will travel to Heidelberg without 2016 premiership captain Brayden Shaw and key forward Bailey Jordan. The Tigers will be without ruckman Sam Gilmore.

Luke Collins is one of two outs for Bundoora for its important match against North Heidelberg at Yulong Reserve. Collins was the Bulls’ best player in his club debut last week. The Bulldogs will be without Jack Mapleson.

Meanwhile, West Preston-Lakeside will be without Ozgur Uysal when it hosts Northcote Park at J.E. Moore Park. The Cougars have made three changes from their opening-round side, with Brock McLennan, Bryn Barnes-Webb and Michael Naldrett all set to miss.

In A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, Banyule has named recruits Jack Langford, Tim Martin, Mitchell Lovell and Reuben Blackmore-Moore, along with Brent Stanton for its season opener against Eltham.

The Panthers have named Brandon Freeman and Tom Evans for the much-anticipated match, however key defender Matthew Keys is among the outs.

Chris McCabe will play his first game for Whittlesea since Round 2 last year when the Eagles host Diamond Creek. The visitor regains ruckman Josh Marchbank but will be without gun recruit Tom Bennett, who was injured in last week’s win against the Fitzroy Stars.

Kane Slater has been named to make his Thomastown debut when the Bears travel to Whatmough Park to take on St Mary’s, while retired ex-captain Matthew Crompton is among two changes for Watsonia’s trip to Epping.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Lalor has named nine new players for its first game of the season, when it hosts Laurimar. The Power will be without Adam Dennis and Kieran Sheehan.

Panton Hill will unveil new ruckman Joel McLellan when it hosts South Morang in the twilight game at A.E. Cracknell Reserve. The Lions have suffered a setback, with Tye Hall and Matthew Trim both named among the outs.

Kyl Ewart is out of Heidelberg West’s side for its trip to Reservoir. The key forward booted seven goals in last week’s win against Mernda.

Meanwhile, the Demons welcome back Dayne Kellett for their important home fixture against Kilmore. Ben Tsakmakis returns for the Blues, although Scott Swindells will miss.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to each match.
