The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

All senior men’s teams in Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an Under-19.5 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Diamond Creek captain Nathan Searl is one of four changes as his side face Watsonia. Ryan Pingree is another to be included for the Creekers, while Austin Sinclair will miss for the remainder of the season for the Saints.

Jack Bianchin headlines the additions for St Mary’s in their top five battle with South Morang. The Lions make four changes, re-calling forward Kyle Wheatley, but losing Tyrone Leonardis.

Mitchell Andrews and Xavier Dimasi will be a key duo out of Whittlesea’s side when they make the trip to Panton Hill. The Redbacks will miss Brad Leggett, however Nathan Jasper and Jesse Owens-Draper return for Simon Amore’s side.

Lower Plenty have selected Riley Alexander in their key battle against a Thomastown outfit who will miss Daniel Chadwick and Nick Jolly.

2023 Division 3 Team of the Year ruck Billy Morrison will play his first game since last year’s Grand Final, and is one of four huge additions for Mernda, who also bring back Dyane Kellett.

Ivanhoe have made seven changes after their narrow loss to Old Eltham Collegians last week, with the likes of Benjamin Cococcia, Andrew Otten, Scott Selwood, Kane Veliou all returning to the team.

Mitchell Merkel returns for Old Paradians in their clash with Lalor, however Will Gilmore will miss, meanwhile Kain Proctor is unavailable for the Fitzroy Stars in their match with Reservoir.

Masaki Miki (Heidelberg West) and Michael Gillard (Epping) are important additions to their respective sides ahead of their meeting at Heidelberg Park.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
