The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.Heidelberg will welcome premiership trio Daniel O’Dwyer, Brayden Sier and Matthew Signorello back into the side to face Banyule on Anzac Day. The Bears include Lewin Davis as part of four changes but will miss Noah Wheeler through suspension.
Angus Seivers headlines the inclusions for Greensborough as they host South Morang, while Noah Cumberland has recovered from his injury niggles and is set to debut for the Lions.
West Preston-Lakeside captain Max Dreher returns as his side battle Bundoora, meanwhile Montmorency co-captain Sam Binion has been named to play his first senior game for the club since Round 6, 2024.
Sean McLaren is back for Hurstbridge while their opponents North Heidelberg will see Fraser Thurlow return.
Whittlesea have made nine changes for their clash with Lower Plenty. Mitchell Andrews will make his season debut, while Riley Carter and Paul Higgins are also in the side, while Joshua Turner has been named for the Bears.
Scott Conte has been selected for Panton Hill in their important battle with Watsonia, while Justin White is in for Macleod ahead of their battle with St Mary’s.
Eddie Betts is set to light up Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval in his debut for the Fitzroy Stars. He is one of four inclusions for the Stars as they face Old Eltham Collegians.
Joshua Leather (Laurimar) and Brent Marshall (Mernda) will both miss for their respective sides ahead of their match on Saturday, while Jarryd Coulson (Heidelberg West) and Bailey Taylor-Egan (Kilmore) have been named for their two clubs as they battle it out at Heidelberg Park.
